The Ins And Outs of How We Do Business
Does my HVAC system need work?
Poor Air Quality
You might have noticed that your indoor air quality has decreased, it might be time to replace your HVAC unit. As your air conditioner gets older, seams begin to leak, and air from undesirable areas can start to leak through. Air filters will begin to become less effective as a result and you will have an increase in allergens in your air.
Ineffective Heating or Cooling
Having an HVAC unit that is inadequate for your home’s size is actually more costly in the longterm than owning a more capable and expensive model. An incapable HVAC unit will need to run for longer periods of time and you end up paying more in electricity than you otherwise would with a proper unit. Your HVAC unit could be lacking because it is outdated, in need of repair or worn out, too small for your home’s size, or is a low quality unit.
Inefficient Heating and Cooling
Another opportunity to save energy with your HVAC system is to install a programmable thermostat. A large portion of many home’s energy bill is a result of heating and cooling the house when it does not need to be. A programmable thermostat can be set to only maintain room temperature when you or your family are inside and to use less energy while you are away at work and the kids are at school. Not only does this save you money on your energy bill, but it reduces stress on your HVAC system and increases it’s lifespan.
